The 2024 NZSUP Race Championships saw nearly 80 competitors from all over New Zealand converge on Marsden Point in Northland, a new venue for the event, for three fabulous days of racing.

The programme featured:

  • Sprint racing on Friday 12 April
  • Technical course racing on Saturday 13 April
  • Long distance racing on Sunday 14 April

The very successful two-fleet format pioneered at the 2023 championships continued for 2024:

  1. The Elite fleet for the very top racers from NZ and the south Pacific – tougher courses and longer distances to push our very best paddlers to their limits.
  2. The Challenger fleet for everyone else, with classes for each age group, and racing guaranteed to take place in user-friendly conditions that any reasonably competent paddler will be able to cope with.

Challenger Fleet Results
